As the new Vice President of Sales, Johnette Lee will lead the development and implementation of an e-Commerce line of business for Bestwork along with enhancing commercial State Use sales.
Johnette joins Bestwork with more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing. She is a visionary who possesses a strong business acumen, an accomplished track record of developing innovative solutions for increasing revenue growth, profit, and operational efficiency, and a passion for empowering people who are blind.
Johnette joins Bestwork from the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind. As their Vice President of Sales and Marketing, she managed the operation of 15 retail stores on Army and Air Force installations located in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Under her direction, sales increased from $20 million to $77 million. Johnette was also responsible for starting several new ventures including a commercial sales program, furniture program, ecommerce program, a commercial retail store, distribution center, and service contracts with a focus on employing blind individuals.
Born and raised in Texas, Johnette grew up on a farm, but she yearned to experience the world, so she moved… to 14 different cities including Brussels, Belgium! She returned back to Texas and now lives in San Antonio. Johnette is deeply committed to her community and generously lends her expertise to a number of civic and social organizations. In her spare time, Johnette loves to travel, of course, and enjoys painting.
