Hours of Operation

Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Salaried employees are not eligible for overtime.

Pay Schedule

Biweekly on Thursday for the period ending on the previous Saturday.
It is recommended that you sign up for direct deposit. This can be deposited into a checking or savings account.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

PTO includes vacation, sick, and personal days allocation. Any “personal” days required to take care of emergency, illness, etc., are included in PTO. Company Holidays are a separate program. PTO days used for sick purposes will follow the New Jersey Paid Sick Leave Law, which covers the employee and family as defined by the Law. All days may be used for sick purposes; however, if all days are used for sick purposes, no days remain for vacation or other purposes for the year. See attached PTO policy for further details.

Medical Insurance

After 90 days of consecutive employment, you are eligible for health insurance. Bestwork pays the premium for the employee; however, there is a percentage the employee will contribute. Dental is available at an additional cost.

Dependents are at the employee’s full expense. Please consult with Human Resources to find out your individual cost for the dependent coverage.

Life Insurance

After 90 days of consecutive employment, you are eligible to enroll in this program. This insurance is solely paid by Bestwork. It pays 1 ½ times your annual salary to your beneficiary in the event of your death while still in the employment of Bestwork Industries. It is not transferable or portable if you are terminated or resign.

Individual Employee 403(b) Retirement Plan

After 6 months of consecutive employment at Bestwork, you are entitled to enroll in this option. You will be able to invest the amount you choose but no less than $50 per month in the 403(b) plan. You can either invest a flat dollar amount per pay or a percentage of your gross earnings that will be automatically deducted from your pay. There is no company match.

Bestwork Corporate Retirement Plan

After 1 year of service, you will be automatically enrolled in our corporate retirement plan. Bestwork contributes monthly based on Board of Director approval. There is no individual employee contribution.

Performance Evaluations

A performance evaluation will be conducted annually. This will be an opportunity to give feedback on your performance. Any salary increase will be approved through the budget process. Any increase is effective the first pay period of the calendar year.
