Philadelphia 100 Awards

For the second consecutive year, Bestwork Industries for the Blind, Inc. (Bestwork) has been named to the prestigious Philadelphia100® list, recognizing it as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Greater Philadelphia region. The organization celebrated a remarkable climb in the rankings, securing the #31 position for 2025—a significant jump of 47 spots from its #78 ranking in 2024.

The 2025 rankings were unveiled during the annual awards ceremony at the LIVE! Casino and Hotel in Philadelphia on November 13. The honor underscores a period of explosive growth and strategic diversification for Bestwork, New Jersey’s largest employer of people who are blind or visually impaired.

“Being named to the Philadelphia100 for a second year—and climbing so significantly in the ranks—is a profound validation of our dual mission: to run a successful, competitive business while creating meaningful employment for people who are blind or visually impaired,” said Jon Katz, President & CEO of Bestwork. “This remarkable growth isn’t just about numbers on a spreadsheet; it translates directly into more jobs and greater opportunities. Climbing from #78 to #31 in a single year is a testament to the incredible talent and dedication of our team, and it proves that a mission-driven organization can lead the way in business excellence.”

The Philadelphia100 is a merit-based program, with rankings determined by an independent accounting firm’s evaluation of financial growth. The award is one of the most sought-after honors in the region, exclusively celebrating the fastest-growing companies that drive our economy.

Bestwork’s growth is fueled by its diverse business lines, which include textile manufacturing, e-Commerce, Document Scanning and Digital Imaging, and Kitting, Packaging, and Light Assembly.
